A message from our founders on 2020
At the end of 2019 we were so excited, entering a new year, a new decade. At parties and events we told our friends what 2020 would bring and what a wonderful year it would be. Little did we know at the time, that just a few months down the line the industries we loved and the work we are so passionate about would have all but stopped.
Support
However always one to try and focus on the positive the support and love for our neighbours, friends, colleagues, the NHS and our industry has blossomed in 2020. Gone are the words competitors having been swapped for peers.
Why we started HELP Recruitment
HELP Recruitment is all about supporting and recruiting hospitality, events & leisure people. Created by Jo Oakley and Claire Hoolahan, we wanted to find a way of bringing together our passion for these creative industries while offering much needed support. With a combined 40 years’ experience under our belts, we have a huge knowledge of the hospitality, events & leisure industries. In 2018 we decided it was time to step away from the day to day operations and move into recruitment. Fast forward to 2020, we wanted to find a way of creating an agency which is not only able to operate as a honest, experienced and professional service but able to offer much needed support to our clients and candidates.
How are we currently supporting you
Yes HELP Recruitment is a business and we aim to be the go to recruiter for both clients and candidates alike. But 2020 is not about profit it is about support. With this in mind we we have come up with a number of ways to put traditional recruitment business to one side and focus on those virtual hugs.
